Yes Puppy Yoga does exist. I did not believe it at first but have been coming across advertising for a bunch of classes in London and ultimately decided to give it a go.

Let me say this. I loooove puppies – any dogs really. Grew up with dachshunds and believe they are the smartest and most adorable breed of dog there is.

When I first signed up I did not know what to expect. I like yoga and I am trying to be better at being active so combining a yoga class which was advertised as having a lot of quality time with a buch of adorable pups sounded like a win win. I get to exercise and I get to play with dogs.

And let me tell you – it was exactly that !

I went to attend a Pups Yoga class in Old Street – it was a beautiful venue and the yoga class was real good fun. Nothing too strenuous but a great little work out to get those muscles moving and your body stretched in all the right places. This was then followed by some real quality time with 6 of the most adorable puppies you can imagine.

Pups Yoga posts info on the breeds they have on their social media accounts in the course of a week so I knew to expect dachshunds or dobermans.

We ended up spending some real quality time with 6 12 week old doberman pups. This was one of the most fun classes I had done and it is truly good for the soul. Its also good for the pups to learn about human interaction from an early age and it’d also very interesting to connect and speak with the breeders who attend.

If you are looking for something that takes your mind off the day to day and to give you some peace, much needed distraction and that brings a smile back to your face then I would highly recommend a Pups Yoga or a Pups Play class (for those who are not too keen on the Yoga part Pups is also offering a class where you just get to play with those gorgeous little dogs).
